Delete Your Data
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Draft – under legal review. This English version is being reviewed by counsel and may change. Until it is approved, the Turkish version is the authoritative text.
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of conflict, the Turkish version prevails, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence grants you greater protection.
Data That Is Deleted
When you delete your Garajiz account, the following data is anonymised and permanently removed within 30 days:
- Personal information: name, email address, phone number (if saved)
- Vehicle data: plate, make/model, engine details, inspection and insurance dates
- Appointment information: appointment requests sent to garages, notes and preferences
- Google OAuth tokens: Google Calendar and Google Drive permissions (refresh token)
- Business data (business accounts): registered staff, customer history, invoices
Note: appointment reminders and events previously added to your Google Calendar stay in Google's own system; you can delete them directly in Google Calendar. Files uploaded to Google Drive (photos, documents) also stay in your Drive and are managed by you.
Revoking Google OAuth Access
When you delete your Garajiz account, the system automatically calls Google's OAuth revoke API and invalidates your refresh token. After that, Garajiz can no longer access your Google Calendar or Google Drive.
You can also revoke access directly in your Google account settings:
myaccount.google.com/permissions →Find “Garajiz” there and remove access; all tokens and authorisations end immediately.
Deleting a Vehicle Owner Account
If you are registered as a vehicle owner in the Garajiz customer portal:
- Sign in to the portal with your email and password or “Sign in with Google”.
- Open the menu in the top right → My Profile.
- At the bottom of the profile page, find “Delete Account”.
- Tap it and confirm in the dialog.
- The system then:
- anonymises all personal data (name, email and phone are deleted);
- revokes Google OAuth tokens (if you signed in with Apple, deleting in the app also revokes Sign in with Apple);
- signs you out;
- permanently deletes all data within 30 days.
Deleting a Business / Technician Account
If you have a business (service/technician) account, you can delete it in the Garajiz iOS app:
- Sign in to the Garajiz app with your business account.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Verify your identity: your password, Sign in with Apple re-authentication, or the confirmation text shown on screen.
- When you confirm:
- your personal data (name, email, phone) is anonymised immediately and all your sessions are signed out;
- your Google connection and Sign in with Apple authorisation are revoked;
- if you are the sole owner, the business is also closed: the storefront goes offline, all staff lose access, any web subscription is cancelled and all business records (customers, vehicles, work orders, invoices, stock) are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Warning: this cannot be undone. To keep your data, export it first under Settings → Backup. App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple; cancel them in your App Store account settings to avoid being charged. If you cannot access the app, send your deletion request from your registered email address to kvkk@garajiz.com.
Disconnecting Google Only
If you don't want to delete your account, you can revoke only Google Calendar and Drive access:
- Go to My Profile in the portal or panel.
- Open Connected Accounts or Integrations.
- On the “Google” row, choose “Disconnect”.
- Confirm. Your Garajiz account stays open, but calendar sync stops, Drive uploads are disabled and your other data (vehicles, appointment history) is kept.
You can reconnect later by authorising the same Google account again.
Your Rights
Under KVKK (Law No. 6698) Art. 11 you can, among other things:
- learn whether and what data about you is processed, and request information about it;
- learn the purpose of processing and the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred;
